Registration information: when you create a PSN account, we collect information such as your name, date of birth and email address, country postcode, password and gender.
Your payment information: it is the information you provide when you buy funds for your PSN wallet or make any other payments via PSN using a payment card. We will store your payment card details, excluding the 3 or 4 digit security code, for future purchases, unless you remove them from your account via your PSN Account Management area. - Your PSN Online ID
- Your IP address and device MAC address (the unique numbers which identify the network and device you are using) and date and time of sign in;

- Information about the device you are using and how you have used it, such as model and serial number, device settings (e.g. photograph, remote play, parental control);
- How you use PSN, for example, what games or music you play, what content you browse, share or download, what services you access and for how long, including how often you use chat, message boards or other communication services;
- Your gamer profile, game matching, uploaded scores and rankings, your Friends and block lists and your appearance on other user's Friends or block lists.

- To maintain your account, process your purchases and carry out credit checks, we will provide your payment details to banks and to other relevant third parties in order to complete your purchase and obtain payment;

Other websites, games and services: we may allow you to use your PSN account details to access third party game and application services and to log in to other applications and websites, such as third party game publishers, social networking and game consolidation websites. We may provide those third parties with access to some of your PSN account details (such as your PSN Online ID, country gender, age and 'Friends' and block list) so they can operate and improve their services and websites. When you log in with your PSN account to access a third party service, you provide your details to us and we confirm your identity to the third party but never share your password or passcode. Those third parties should inform you about their use of your information for any other purposes and, where required by law, obtain your prior consent. Service providers: your information will be available to companies who help us to provide PSN or other online services provided directly via your Sony device and to companies who process your payments for us. We may allow such companies to produce and retain aggregate, statistical information about how their services are used for their own purposes.
Business transfer: your information may be available to third parties during negotiations for a transfer of all or part of our business and may be transferred by us as part of that business.

PSN Online ID: when you register a master or sub account, you may choose a PSN Online ID. When you use PSN, your PSN Online ID is your public nickname and may be visible to all PSN users. Other users, such as people whom you meet or play online, can use your PSN Online ID to send you messages or chat. If you accept other users as your 'Friends' in PSN, they can see what you are doing within PSN at any time. Your PSN Online ID, 'About Me' statement, avatar, language, country and gaming scores and statistics may be displayed in PSN or on our or third party game related websites.
Name: When you create a PSN account or sign in to an account on PlayStation®4, you have the choice between displaying your name or your PSN Online ID. If you chose to display your name, this information will be available in the same way as we describe above for PSN Online ID. You can choose which 'Friends', and whether 'Friends of Friends', can see your name. But in some cases we may assume that you would prefer your name to be displayed (for instance, to a new 'Friend' who accepts your email friend request sent via the official PlayStation app) and you will need to change your settings if you would prefer to display your PSN Online ID instead. Please be aware that anyone who can see your name will be able to share it with others, for example by sharing a gameplay video that you feature in (see below).
Profile picture: when you set up an PSN account on PS4™, you can upload a profile picture for your PSN account, in which case, this will be publically available.
Other images: if your device has a camera you may be able to upload or stream images of yourself and others.
Some devices allow users to record, stream and upload online activities such as gameplay and therefore may be distributed outside PSN without your knowledge, which means that you and we have no control over it.

'Share' button: you or the user you are playing with online can live stream your gameplay, or upload gameplay video and screen shots to third party websites or the public through the 'share' button on your device system. You must be at least 18 years old to create a PSN account. However, if you are a parent or guardian, you may create up to 6 sub accounts under your PSN account for your children aged 7 to 17 to access the PSN and some of its services.
Depending upon the registered age of the sub account and local laws we may email you in order to confirm your consent to registration and to use their child's personal information as explained in this Privacy Policy. We ask you not to share your password or passcode with anyone and to avoid using the same password that you use for other online websites or services. Remember to turn 'Save Password' off before letting anyone else use your PSN account or giving your PSP™ (PlayStation®Portable), PlayStation®3 or PlayStation®Vita computer entertainment system, personal computer, BRAVIA® television or Blu-ray™ Disc player to anyone else, including for return to a shop or for repair.
If you use PS4™, it will automatically sign you in once your account is created, that means that you will be automatically signed-in when you switch on your PS4™. If you are using a shared device, we recommend that you set a passcode to prevent unauthorised access to your account by going to your Account Management area.
